Netflix is gearing up for what could be its biggest year yet. At the company’s annual showcase, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria unveiled an ambitious slate of films, series, and games set to debut in 2025.
Hosted at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, the event featured guest appearances by WWE superstars CM Punk and Rhea Ripley, acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro, actors Ben Affleck and Tina Fey, comedian John Mulaney, the Duffer Brothers, and more. The showcase was live-streamed across 12 countries, giving fans around the world a first look at what’s coming next.
Here’s a breakdown of the exciting content coming to Netflix in 2025.
New Films
Frankenstein – Directed by Academy Award-winner Guillermo del Toro, this long-awaited adaptation is a deeply personal project that he has been developing for 50 years.
RIP – A crime thriller starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, described by Ben Affleck as “a really fun, engaging ride that keeps you guessing.”
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery – The next chapter in Rian Johnson’s hit detective series, expected to premiere in Fall 2025.
