It’s here! The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Dick Clark Productions, and NBC released the list of Golden Globe presenters for this year! Here’s what we know about this year’s show.
The first batch of beloved celebrities who are presenting awards this year include Awkwafina, Cynthia Erivo, Joaquin Phoenix, Kristen Wiig, Annie Mumolo, and Renée Zellweger. Phoenix and Zellweger received Best Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture Drama last year. Awkwafina won Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy, while Erivo was nominated for her performance in Harriet. Both Mumolo and Wiig were Oscar nominees for the Original Screenplay of 2011’s smash hit, Bridesmaids.
Satchel and Jackson Lee, the children of esteemed director Spike Lee, will serve as the 2021 Golden Globe Ambassadors. Jane Fonda will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Norman Lear is being awarded the Carol Burnett Award.
The award show will take place on February 28th from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC. The co-hosts of this year’s show are none other than Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. And this isn’t the first time the dynamic duo hosted! Fey and Poehler hosted the Golden Globes in 2013, 2014, and 2015. But this year will differ from previous years as the show will take place virtually! The 30 Rock alum will be in New York at the Rainbow Room, while the Parks and Recreation star will be at the Beverly Hilton Ballroom in California.
We’re super excited to learn who else is presenting as the date gets closer! Make sure to watch The Golden Globes on February 28th!
