After months of waiting to see Don’t Worry Darling– starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, there were crowds of people outside of the movie theaters during its opening weekend. Obviously, all the harries (Harry Styles fans) around the world were going to be some of the first to watch. I mean, our baby is on screen, we’ve been waiting for more moments like this!
The film within itself was amazing– the plotline, the cinematography, the score. Everything was perfectly put together to make such an aesthetically pleasing film. We sense this idea of beautifulness throughout the film, not to mention the entire cast is arguably the best-looking cast known to mankind. The hairstylist did such an impressive job of portraying the look of the 50’s time period, bringing a certain essence to the film which had many fans commenting on the styles.
During the Venice film festival interviews, Harry went on about how his favorite thing about the movie was that “it just feels like a movie”. Fans were joking about this for weeks after the interview. Now that the movie has been released, a fan posted on TikTok “After watching DWD, can confirm Harry was 100% correct in this statement and it is the only thing it can be described as. He deserves an apology for being clowned for saying this.”

Obviously, harries were going to comment on the fact that he is just SO cute. People are now making memes of how even though there are so many red flags in his character Jack Chambers, they would blatantly ignore them because I mean… LOOK AT HIM!

Fans were especially happy that our dancing fruit man made an appearance during the film. There was a full scene dedicated to him dancing around the stage; and because the same few dance moves were repeated multiple times, fans took this as an opportunity to make some funny clips in reference to the scene.

People are now connecting Harry Styles’s music in references to the film. His song “Keep Driving” has lines that are definitely in tune with the plot of Don’t Worry Darling. Lines such as “Black and White film, camera…” mean that the film takes place in the ’50s. “We held darkness” is significant to the film’s victory project, which was dark and harsh even though those involved in the project were all happy and living the “perfect lifestyle”.
