Is Nene Leakes is quitting The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Well, acccording to her friend Wendy Williams, Nene is out!
Not only is Nene Leakes leaving the Housewives, but her BFF Wending Williams said shes leaving because of a secret reason that has nothing to do with the show.
AfterBuzz TV has reported before that Nene has NOT been happy about this season of Housewives for so many reasons, but on todays episode of Wendy Williams, the queen of How You Doin? says Nene is dealing with horrible and secret personal issues.
On Tuesdays show, Williams said during a commercial break Nene texted her a quick and short message, Im quitting. So of course, being the good friend Williams is, she told everyone in her audience as well as her hunky guest Jerry OConnell.
A rep for Leakes told People, Its been an especially difficult couple of weeks for Nene and she was venting to her friend in private correspondence. Nothing has been confirmed or officially decided for next season.
Leakes also responded on her Instagram with a pic with her mouth dropped open and the caption, WHO SAID DAT? Shakin my head.
Williams goes on to say she has been begging Leakes to stay. I know something about Nene that you all will cry, be sad and feel bad for her, Williams says. Shes carrying the weight of a huge thing on her shoulders. Im not going to say it, shes got to say it. But in my opinion, Nene, you need this platform to explain the other part of your life.
Thank goodness Nene has friends like Wendy Williams who will tell everyone immediately.
But seriously, we love Nene and we hope she does whats best for her. We have no doubt she will be drinking her margaritas and empowering women in no time. And Wendy will keep being Wendy.
