The kids find out that Nina’s drinking is actually helping her remember the magical experiences of the keys. Kinsey’s love triangle with Scot and Gabe finally comes to a head. Bode meets Rufus’ “cousin” and Bode doesn’t quite trust him. After visiting the sea caves with Tyler and finding the Keepers of the Keys engraved in stone, Kinsey visits Erin (AKA Vossie) only to find that Dodge has already been there. Erin reveals that Dodge is actually Lucas. Dodge/Lucas uses the head key to find out where Rendell hid the omega key. In trying to bring back Rendell, Nina puts Rendell’s ashes in the mending key cabinet. When she doesn’t get the outcome she wants, she breaks the urn and breaks down. Tyler tries to clean up the mess and finds the omega key amongst the ashes of his father.

Nina has coffee with Detective Daniel while all hell breaks loose in and around the Locke House. Dodge returns with the Crown of Shadows and a gaggle of demon shadows whose weakness is light. Kinsey and the Matheson Bunch — Gabe, Scot, Bode, Tyler, and Eden — go to the caves and toss Dodge’s body into the blue door abyss where Dodge, et al. do their best Hans Gruber/slo-mo impression. Scot won’t double date with Kinsey slash Gabe which is fine with her and him/Gabe. And since Gabe=Dodge=Lucas=Ellie= who knows who else,, Kinsey is Matheson’s new Bachelorette. (Who will you give the rose to, Kins?) Nina decides the family should go back to Seattle but the others want to stay. They toss dad’s ashes over a cliff and pronounce, “You’re home now, Rendell. We’re home.”
