Super fans and viewers of HBO’s teen drama, Euphoria, saw an exciting week of news for some of the series’ big names. Zendaya’s 24th birthday was this past Tuesday. The former Shake It Up actress expressed how grateful she was for all the kind birthday wishes the following day on her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Academy-award winning actress Viola Davis said happy birthday to the young star with a throwback picture of the two posed side by side. Fellow Dune costar Timothée Chalamet shared a heartfelt birthday message with the actress, to which she said almost brought her to tears.
Zendaya is part of the #BeyHive fandom, so when she saw a fan’s tweet with a screenshot of the Beyonce website wishing her a happy birthday, the Euphoria actress “lost it.” Two days later, Zendaya returned the favor by sending the Queen B birthday wishes with a throwback gif and the hashtag BeyDay.
Sydney Sweeney was another Euphoria star active on social media this week. Most recently, she tweeted out a TikTok video from an account called tank_sweeney. The wholesome video shows the actress’s dog “dancing” to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP.” She shared the video on her Twitter page, captioning it as “we did something.”
The 22-year-old also retweeted a Prime Video clip promoting her new and unsettling horror anthology, Welcome to Blumhouse. Sweeney is among a number of actors in the project who’ll grace screens when it’s released in a month. The Kissing Booth’s Joey King stars in the spooky Amazon release.
Kissing Booth character Noah Flynn, portrayed by Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi, was spotted with supermodel Kaia Gerber. The two celebs were seen together at the Malibu restaurant Nobu, last Tuesday evening. The casual dinner date/get together between the two brought his relationship with co-star Zendaya into question. Even fans were confused by the outing.
Elordi and Zendaya were seen grocery shopping together in Los Angeles months ago, and the two seemed more than friends. However, the two never confirmed or denied the dating rumors.
The 23-year-old actor also stars as a leading character in 2 Hearts, an inspirational film that depicts a true story about love. Fans can watch more of Elordi when the movie is released Oct. 16.
