Supporting that match on the undercard was Bobby ‘King’ Green vs. Edson ‘Junior’ Barboza, Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett vs. Chico ‘The King’ Camus, Jared ‘The Big Show’ Rosholt vs. Oleksiy ‘The Boa Constrictor’ Oliynyk, Joseph Benevidez vs. Dustin Ortiz, and Matt Wiman vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg.
Sailing minus one co-host this week, Daria Berenato and Jay Tan were joined in-studio by one of the most respected referee/judges in California, Mike Bell. Mike has worked an array of MMA shows, from local amateur events to UFC, RFA, and World Series of Fighting, since 2010. On this aftershow, Mike offers his perspective on the state of officiating in MMA, including misconceptions about judging and refereeing, his training and experience as an official, and where he sees room for improvement in the sport.
