With all of the hype around the exclusive TV series and movies that are slated to drop on Disney+ in 2022, we’re taking a look at the top 10 that people are most excited about.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder
The Proud Family is getting a reboot! The new series follows Penny Proud as she gains her independence and faces typical teenage experiences in junior high. The series premieres in February.
Turning Red
The movie Turning Red is about Meilin “Mei” Lee, a confident 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian who “poofs” into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited or stressed. The movie releases on March 11th.
Moon Knight
This TV series follows Marc Spector, a former US Marine who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. He is drawn into a deadly mystery and becomes a vigilante known as Moon Knight. The series will premiere on March 30th.
Baymax!
Everyone’s favorite marshmallow robot is back! Baymax! The show follows the adventures of Hiro and his other friends, Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred as a band of high-tech heroes. The series comes out in the summer.
Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvel highlights the story of Kamala Khan, who is a fan of the Avengers, particularly Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel). However, she struggles to fit in until she gains her own powers. The series will be released in the summer.

Disenchanted (Enchanted 2)
The beloved movie Enchanted is finally getting the sequel it deserves! Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey will return to play their respective characters. The movie is expected to premiere in the fall.

Hocus Pocus 2
Twenty-nine years after the events of Hocus Pocus, three high-school students must work together to stop the Sanderson sisters who have returned to present-day Salem. This highly anticipated movie will be released in the fall.

Pinocchio (Live Action)
The highly loved animated movie is getting its own live action remake. The movie stars Tom Hanks as Geppetto and Cynthia Erivo as The Blue Fairy. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will be voicing Pinocchio. The live action remake is set to premiere in the fall.

Obi-Won Kenobi Star Wars Series
The series, which stars Ewan McGregor as the title character, begins with Obi-Wan Kenobi watching over Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The release date has yet to be determined but we know we will be seeing this on our screens sometime this year.

She-Hulk
The She-Hulk series will be based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters as She-Hulk, alongside Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, and others. The Marvel series does not yet have a release date but will be out sometime this year.
