The Summer I Turned Pretty S2 Reactions and Predictions

In honor of The Summer I Turned Pretty being halfway through season 2, here are some fan reactions from the past 4 episodes and fan predictions for the next 4! Warning: spoilers ahead!

The long-awaited season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty is finally here! The first four episodes are now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and fans are obsessing over the new storylines.

Fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive to the episodes so far! Whether you are team Conrad or team Jeremiah, you have to admit the flashback scenes between Conrad and Belly are absolutely adorable. Getting to watch two teenagers fall in love and experience pure romance is not only special but exactly what fans wanted to see.

One scene that caught fans off guard was the steamy fireplace scene between Belly and Conrad in episode 2. The scene, which was not in the books, features an intimate moment between the two characters, and it certainly left fans shook.

Episode 3 featured the heartbreaking scene, where Conrad and Belly break up in the middle of prom. The devastating scene doesn’t leave a dry eye in the room, even though the audience knows it’s coming.

Fans are also loving the soundtrack, which so far has featured Olivia Rodrigo, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Latto, Tyler the Creator, Coi Leray, and more amazing artists. The soundtrack compliments the storyline well, and fans definitely shed some tears when Belly drove around crying to “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo.

Episode 4 was another jam-packed episode. Now that Conrad and Belly are together for the first time after their fight at the funeral, fans are on the edge of their seats watching them interact. Fans were definitely screaming when Conrad called Belly his girlfriend to the realtor. Also, the episode ends with the kids coming home to find the beach house empty because Aunt Julia has continued with the sale and taken all the furniture out. Aunt Julia is meant to be the antagonist of this season, and it’s safe to say that fans do not like her character.

Since there are 8 episodes total in season 2, and we are officially halfway through, fans have a ton of predictions for what will happen in the final four episodes.

Obviously, people can’t wait to see whether Belly will get back together with Conrad or end up with Jeremiah, especially since she’s been flirting with both of them. It seems like there are more team Conrad fans this season!

Fans have also noticed the flirtation between Steven and Taylor and are starting to wonder if and when the two will get together. Everyone seems to be rooting for them!

Many fans are trying to predict which Taylor Swift songs will be in season 2. We have already seen “Last Kiss” and “Invisible String”, but fans are still guessing which ones will appear next.
