“The Past and the Furious” Season 1 Episode 11 ‘Stumptown’ Recap & Review

This week, Dex seeks a new client, Jeremy’s, birth parents. As she searches for his biological parents, she discovers a scandal from Shephard church where they took children from their parents and sent then to foster parents who were “pure.” Eventually, Dex reunites Jeremy with his father, but Jeremy’s biological dad doesn’t stick around long. Meanwhile, the talk of family forces Dex to confront her own issues with her parents who abandoned her and her brother years ago. At the end, there is some justice when Jeremy meets his biological aunt and extended family who tell him they saved a place for him in their family. Separately, Grey goes undercover and meets Max, living out a story akin to the Fast and the Furious. Grey seems to understand he needs to be better, and not fall back into a life of crime, when Ansel tells him he wants to be a man like Grey. At the end of the episode, Max calls Grey into their garage with the rest of the crew, and they end up bringing him into their business with heroin.
