The Most Iconic Celebrity Bridal Looks of the Past Decade

We are taking a look at some of the best celebrity bridal looks from the past 10 years that you will want to save to your Pinterest board!

Celebrities are always dressing up, whether it is for a photoshoot, event, party, or simply just for their daily job. However, the wedding dresses are always some of the most fashionable and memorable looks they will have. It is so fascinating to see how each person’s style is reflected through their dress, and always serves as inspiration for the masses. In no particular order, let’s take a look at some of the most iconic bridal looks from the past decade.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber tied the knot with the one and only, Justin Bieber in 2018 and had their official ceremony in South Carolina in 2019. Often being fashion inspiration for street style, Hailey did not disappoint with her wedding gown. It was a custom made by the late Virgil Abloh, who was the CEO of Milan based Off-White. At first glance, Bieber’s dress is a traditional, mermaid style dress with elegant off-the-shoulder long sleeves. It was covered with intricate lace and beading, with a long train. What makes this design stand out, is that on her veil, the phrase “Till Death Do Us Part” is stitched at the end, giving the Off-White vibe.

Nicola Peltz

Cheers to the newest newlyweds! This April 2022, actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, married Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham in Palm Beach, Florida. Nicola looked absolutely stunning in her custom Valentino. The dress itself embodies a traditional essence, however, the train that sits over the gown brings a creative dimensionality to the look. Nicola also wore custom lace gloves to add to the gracefulness, along with a long, lined with lace.

Ariana Grande

We cannot believe that it has been almost a year since Ariana Grande married real estate broker, Dalton Gomez at an intimate ceremony in their Montecito home. Her dress was a custom Vera Wang, who also designed her Met Gala look in 2018. The silk, staples gown with a plunging back, was simplistic, timeless, and of the utmost elegance. To top it off with a very Ariana-ish detail is a bow at the head of her short, tulle veil.

Anne Hathaway

Rewinding, Anne Hathaway wed Adam Shulman in 2012 during a private ceremony in Big Sur. Before you ask, no she did not wear the same dress Mia Thermopolis wore in The Princess Diaries. Hathaway graced the ceremony in custom Valentino. Her gown showcased great, intricate lace and embroidery throughout and also included a chiffon bust, train, and veil. Her look incorporated some beautiful details including a vintage-inspired headpiece, wrapping around her head, as well as a hint of pink at the front of the gown.

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have been hitting many life milestones, between marriage, the birth of their first child, and now expecting their second. The fun couple married in 2019 and held a beautiful ceremony in the South of France, after their iconic legal ceremony in Las Vegas. Her stunning gown was custom Louis Vuitton, designed by the creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière. It included full-length sleeves and a silk gown style skirt that was also embroidered with floral. The bust was a plunging V-neckline and also included an open back. All elements are pulled together with a full-length veil.

Ciara

The multi-talented Ciara and her football player husband, Russell Wilson are the ultimate power couple. After a quick four-month engagement, the two got married at a castle in England in July of 2016. Ciara’s dress truly embodied the fairytale wedding vibe, different from her typical look. It was a custom Roberto Cavalli, designed by Peter Dundas. This ball gown style was adorned in lace, embroidery, and baroques, also having long sleeves and plunging neckline. One cool feature of her look was that the dress had a removable half skirt, making her able to fully dance at the reception.

Serena Williams

Last but certainly not least, Serena Williams may be amazing at tennis (to say the least), but also nailed her wedding style. She and her husband Alex Ohanian married in 2017 at a beautiful ceremony in New Orleans. Her wedding dress was a custom Alexander McQueen designed by Sarah Burton, who also designed Kate Middleton’s dress. Williams made a statement with this dress, choosing a simple yet lavish ball gown design, with a strapless bust. The most important component of her look was the exquisite, embellished cape she wore overtop, falling floor length.
