The Evolution Of Lady Gaga’s Most Iconic Looks

Lady Gaga has been a source of creative fashion inspiration for over 30 years; while it was difficult to narrow down our favorites, here are 5 looks we can’t get enough of!

2010 MTV Video Music Awards

This Franc Fernandez-designed outfit was made entirely of raw meat, and the star was sewn into the dress just minutes before walking the red carpet. For the last touch, they placed a thin steak on top of her head. In all honesty, nobody beats her in this.

2010 Brit Awards

One of the most memorable looks of Lady Gaga’s career is from the red carpet at the 2010 Brit Awards. She looked stunning in the Francesco Scognamiglio created style that was inspired by Marie Antoinette, which included a white ruffled dress and an updo wig that was three times the size of her head. The singer also wore a lace mask by Philip Treacy. We need more updos on the red carpet!

2020 MTV Video Music Awards

One of Gaga’s nine looks at the 2020 VMAs was a colorful Iris van Herpen dress and black Pleasers boots. This dress was iconic and a multicolored ray of sunshine during 2020!

New York City Pre-Met Gala Diner 2019

Gaga was at the New York City dinner prior to the Met Gala in 2019, wearing a Marc Jacobs dress, a hat by Philip Treacy, boots by Pleaser, and a tiny bag by Delvaux. This look was classic and fun with its stripes and a mini handbag. We still wonder what was inside of it.

32nd American Cinematheque Award Presentation

At the 32nd Annual American Cinematheque Award Presentation Honoring Bradley Cooper, Gaga dazzled in a gorgeous metallic halter neck gown and chandelier earrings. This slim, shimmering dress suits her so well.
