The CW has confirmed that 12 of its shows have been renewed including Riverdale, The Flash, and the freshmen Walker, along with so many more!
The CW is making big waves this week with the announcement of 12 of their top hitting shows being renewed for another season.
The CW‘s Walker starring Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki has already been renewed for a second season even though the first season has only aired a few episodes.
The show has gotten very high reviews for this retelling of the classic Walker Texas Ranger series. Padalecki showed his excitement for another season to continue his character, Cordell Walker’s, story, saying, “Grateful for the support from our friends at the CW… Ready to saddle up for this ride and give you all I’ve got.”
Alongside Walker, the CW has also renewed Batwoman, which is very exciting as everyone was wondering what Javicia Leslie was going to bring to the Batwoman mantle.
Leslie was extremely proud of the opportunity to get to play the title character when she was announced as the newest Batwoman. She shared on social media how important it to not only manifest what you want in life but to also work your butt off! “This is manifestation and hard work, One does not exist without the other!”
And while Leslie’s character, Ryan Wilder, is just starting out at this newest bat theme superhero, she is doing good by Gotham City. Leslie is thrilled to be continuing this journey. Saying,
“Season 3 babyyyyy… love y’all!”
The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are already renewed for another season even though their current seasons have not aired.
For a flash of good news, we do have a premiere date for The Flash. The current season premieres March 2.
From the looks of the trailer shared by The Flash’s official Instagram, this season is going to be a very tough road for Team Flash. Saying, “ it takes a real hero to fight the darkness.”
Alongside these big three shows, we have 9 other shows returning to the CW.
All American, Charmed, In the Dark, Roswell, New Mexico, and Legacies are all returning for a fourth season.
Newcomer Nancy Drew has also been confirmed for a season 3, Dynasty was confirmed for a 5th season and The CW’s massive hit Riverdale is confirmed for a season 6.
