We finally know when ‘The Bachelorette’ will premiere on ABC–and what to expect.
Here’s to you, ABC: you finally told us when we get to find out what’s going on with The Bachelorette!
The network announced Thursday that Clare Crawley’s highly-anticipated season of The Bachelorette will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 13 on ABC. The show released its official poster for Crawley’s season, creating a gender-swapped version of the poster for the 1967 film The Graduate, which tells the story of a housewife who has an affair with a younger man. Crawley, 39, is the oldest Bachelorette the show has cast to date.
“It’s about time,” reads Crawley’s poster.
So far, all the promotional materials for The Bachelorette have only featured Crawley, despite multiple sources confirming that Tayshia Adams is replacing her as the show’s lead after Crawley fell in love with a contestant two weeks into filming and threatened to quit the show. Oh, and she might also be engaged right now. NBD.
The Crawley-centered marketing campaign didn’t stop host Chris Harrison from teasing the major twist, though.
“It’s safe to say this season will be twice as good as any other!” he wrote on Instagram, and on Twitter, “I feel like this could be double trouble.”
ABC’s official season description promises big-time drama, too.
“Follow her passionate, wild ride to find her soul mate and the explosive turn of events that will have all of Bachelor Nation talking,” the description reads.
