The Housemaid

Sydney Sweeney’s next highly anticipated project is The Housemaid, a psychological thriller directed by Paul Feig (Ghostbusters(2016) and adapted from Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel. In this intense new role, Sydney Sweeney plays Millie, a young woman trying to rebuild her life as a housemaid for Nina and her husband Andrew, portrayed by Amanda Seyfried and an as-yet-undisclosed actor. Scandalous dives into the secret 1957 romance between actress Kim Novak, played by Sydney Sweeney, and musician Sammy Davis Jr., portrayed by David Jonsson. Their relationship, which defied the era’s intense racial prejudice and Hollywood’s expectations, faced enormous pressure in the public eye.
