Netflix is bringing Squid Game: The Experience to London’s Excel Waterfront, where fans will face five thrilling challenges from the hit series.
Do you have what it takes to survive Squid Game? Londoners are about to find out.
This spring, Netflix is bringing Squid Game: The Experience to the capital, giving fans a chance to step into the high-stakes world of the smash-hit series. Launching at Immerse LDN at Excel London Waterfront, the interactive event promises an hour-long adrenaline rush inspired by the Emmy-winning global sensation Squid Game. Presented by Netflix alongside Luna Entertainment Group and LETSGO, the experience has already thrilled audiences in New York City, Sydney, Seoul and Madrid—and now, it’s London’s turn to face the game.
According to Netflix, the event is “perfect for fans of the series and thrill-seekers alike.” Participants will compete in teams for 60 minutes, taking on five immersive challenges pulled straight from the nail-biting moments of the show. Expect to face the iconic “Red Light, Green Light” under the chilling gaze of the oversized Young-hee doll, attempt to cross the vertigo-inducing Glass Bridge, and test your wits in the intense Marbles game.
After the trials (and hopefully, triumph), guests can unwind at a Korean-inspired Night Market, offering exclusive Squid Game merchandise, themed food and snacks, and plenty of photo opportunities for the ultimate fan keepsake.
Tickets for Squid Game: The Experience aren’t available just yet, but eager participants can sign up for the waitlist now to gain early access to the presale ahead of general ticket sales launching on April 25. The official opening date of the London experience will be revealed soon.
First premiering in September 2021, Squid Game became a cultural juggernaut, captivating audiences worldwide with its gripping story and dystopian drama. Created, written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series became Netflix’s most-watched show of all time, earning six Emmys and a Golden Globe. After the release of its highly anticipated second season last year, the franchise is set to conclude with its third and final season, premiering June 27.
Fans of the show—or anyone up for a pulse-pounding challenge—won’t want to miss the chance to experience the world of Squid Game firsthand. Just remember: the stakes may not be life or death, but they’re definitely real.
