Netflix has officially unveiled the 12 main cast members set to take center stage in Squid Game Season 3. This upcoming season will conclude the gripping saga of Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, as he continues his mission to dismantle the deadly games.
The announcement also makes history, as Squid Game Season 3 marks the shortest gap between seasons for a Netflix scripted action series, a welcome change after the three-year wait between the first two seasons.
Netflix has confirmed that all 12 main cast members from Season 2 will return for the final installment:
Lee Jung-jae (Seong Gi-hun)
Gi-hun finds himself at a crossroads, struggling between continuing his quest to destroy the games or succumbing to his growing despair.
Lee Byung-hun (Front Man/In-ho)
Now fully embracing his role as the Front Man, he holds complete control over the deadly tournament while facing unresolved conflict with his brother.
Yim Si-wan (Myung-gi)
Once entangled in cryptocurrency debt, Myung-gi’s unpredictable nature makes him a dangerous wildcard in the upcoming season.
Kang Ha-neul (Dae-ho)
A former marine, Dae-ho grapples with the trauma of past games and may seek redemption—though redemption is rarely rewarded in Squid Game.
Wi Ha-jun (Jun-ho)
Having played a limited role in Season 2, Jun-ho’s storyline is set to escalate, particularly in his conflict with his brother, the Front Man.
Park Gyu-young (No-eul)
A conflicted guard who defied the system in Season 2, No-eul‘s past actions could have serious repercussions in the new season.
Park Sung-hoon (Hyun-ju)
A former military sergeant who joined Gi-hun’s rebellion, Hyun-ju now takes a leadership role in the fight against the game’s controllers.
Yang Dong-geun (Young-sik)
Initially hesitant to revolt, Young-sik faces an internal struggle between survival and taking a stand against the game.
Kang Ae-sim (Jang Geum-ja)
Known for her protective instincts, Geum-ja may make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure her son’s survival.
Jo Yuri (Jun-hee)
Pregnant during the previous games, Jun-hee must now fight for both herself and her child while dealing with the manipulations of Myung-gi.
Lee David (Min-su)
Overcoming fear and guilt, Min-su’s quest for redemption could lead to significant consequences in the final season.
Roh Jae-won (Nam-gyu)
A ruthless and vengeful player, Nam-gyu’s violent tendencies make him an unpredictable force in Season 3.
With a powerhouse ensemble and high stakes, Squid Game Season 3 promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the global phenomenon. The series returns to Netflix on June 27, 2025.
