AFTERBUZZ TV – Southland edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of TNT’s Southland. In this episode, host Nick Perdue breaks down the episode in which Officer Sammy Bryant is working a second job as a bodyguard for a famous pop singer when he heard gunshots of a man shooting at random people in the street; Bryant subdues him; Bryant becomes a tabloid celebrity for the day after. Officer John Cooper is forced to think about what life will hold for him once he leaves the LAPD, will he be alone or have anyone when he’s old is on his mind. During an altercation Cooper hurt his back but it should be healed in a couple of weeks. Detective Lydia Adams connects with a man she sent to death row earlier in her career because he wanted to thank her for stopping him. With nobody else to turn to she told him her personal fears and life situation. She was able to get the locations of bodies before his execution though. Officer “Dewey” had a heart attack chases a suspect; Cooper found him, saving him with CPR. Officer Ben Sherman found out an old acquaintance is running an drug operation so he turned the information over the the drug enforcement department; he was arrested. Sherman is getting tired of street patrol, he’s thinking about applying for detective. There to help Nick is co-host Anik Dufour. Also joining the conversation is special guest Dorian Missick (Det.
