Social Media Reacts to ‘Murder Mystery 2’!

Fans of the first film were excited to return to the world of Nick and Aubrey spitz in this Netflix Original movie. Here’s what they had to say about the sequel! 

Since Murder Mystery was released in 2019, fans of the hilarious movie have been anticipating the sequel that was announced in October of the same year. Unfortunately, the pandemic put production plans on hold, and it wasn’t until 2021 that the project was resumed.

Fans of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston loved the movie’s sequel and the new locations, hijinks, and stakes.

Twitter users also loved the hilarious scenes in the movie, particularly a scene in the middle of the film where Adam and Jennifer’s characters, Nick and Audrey, have to fight off a group of kidnappers in the back of a van.

The locations in the film were also a big hit with viewers. The film takes place on the private island of The Maharajah, played by Adeel Akhtar, before moving to the streets of Paris with many of the city’s famous sights.

Fans are also loving the representation in the film, which features an over-the-top Sangeet at an Indian wedding, complete with Hindi music and traditional clothing like the lehenga that Jennifer Aniston dons and Adam Sandler’s kurta.

Murder Mystery 2 was such a big hit that fans are already begging writer James Vanderbilt for a third installment. Hopefully, if Netflix does continue with more of Nick and Audrey’s story, it doesn’t take another four years to hit streaming.
