This update comes after Dan Fogelman assured a fan on X that viewers won’t have to wait long for new episodes. “We start shooting in just a few weeks. It won’t be 2 years, I promise! #Paradise,” he wrote, easing concerns about an extended hiatus.

While Hulu hasn’t announced an official release date yet, the fast-moving production schedule suggests that Paradise could return as early as late 2025 or early 2026. In the meantime, fans can catch up on Season 1, which will also air on ABC starting April 7 at 10:00 p.m.

Set in a seemingly utopian community, Paradise follows Sterling K. Brown as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, whose world is turned upside down when the President is assassinated. As Xavier digs deeper, he discovers that the society he trusted is hiding dark secrets—including a dangerous truth about his missing wife.

The series boasts an impressive cast, including: Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins, James Marsden as President Cal Bradford, Julianne Nicholson as “Sinatra”, Krys Marshall as Robinson, Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi, Jon Beavers as Billy Pace, Nicole Brydon Bloom as Jane Driscoll, Aliyah Mastin as Presley Collins, Percy Daggs IV as James Collins, Charlie Evans as Jeremy Bradford, and Richard Robichaux as Carl.

Shailene Woodley’s arrival in Season 2 will add another powerhouse name to this already stacked lineup.

The first season of Paradise ended with jaw-dropping revelations. The so-called perfect society was exposed as a fabricated reality, maintained through manipulation and deceit. Xavier Collins found himself at the center of a conspiracy involving President Cal’s assassination and the sinister plans of “Sinatra.” Meanwhile, Agent Billy faced betrayal from Jane Driscoll, whose innocent demeanor masked her deadly intentions.

Viewers also got a glimpse into President Cal’s troubled past and his father’s mysterious role in the unfolding events. With so many questions left unanswered, Season 2 is expected to delve deeper into the truth behind Paradise.

Dan Fogelman has mapped out a three-season plan for Paradise. “Without giving away too much, each season of the show is a slightly different show, within the same show with the same characters,” he revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

With Shailene Woodley’s arrival and the promise of more twists and turns, Paradise Season 2 is shaping up to be even more thrilling than the first. Stay tuned for more updates!
