SAG Awards 2025: Full Winners List and Biggest Surprises

The 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took center stage on Sunday, February 23, 2025, streaming live on Netflix with host Kristen Bell. The night was full of unforgettable moments as Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered to celebrate the year’s most outstanding performances in film and television.

Among the biggest winners were the casts of Shōgun, Only Murders in the Building, and Conclave, all of which took home the top ensemble prizes. Timothée Chalamet and Demi Moore scored major victories in the leading actor categories, while Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña earned recognition for their supporting roles.

Jane Fonda was honored with the prestigious 60th SAG Life Achievement Award, receiving a standing ovation from the audience. “This means the world to me,” the 87-year-old icon said during her acceptance speech.

Biggest Surprises of the Night

Timothée Chalamet’s win for A Complete Unknown was one of the biggest highlights of the evening. Meanwhile, Shōgun emerged as a powerhouse, sweeping multiple categories including Best Ensemble in a Drama Series and acting wins for Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai.

Demi Moore’s win for The Substance came as a pleasant surprise, proving that her return to dramatic roles is being met with critical acclaim. And in the stunt category, The Fall Guy beat out Dune: Part Two and Gladiator II for the top honor, showcasing the film’s impressive action sequences.

With the SAG Awards now in the books, all eyes turn to the Oscars on March 2, 2025. Will the SAG winners align with the Academy’s choices?
