In November of 2023, Harry Styles did the unthinkable. He shaved his head. First spotted at a concert with his girlfriend at the time Taylor Russell, fans were up in arms. It wasn’t until the official debut and confirmation that people began to love the shaved head look.

Recently, Harry Styles was spotted at London Fashion Week, sporting a brand-new mullet. It has been almost a year since he debuted his shaved head, and it seems that his hair is grown back nicely.

In 2015 and 2016, fans were reeling as Harry Styles showed no signs of stopping his hair growth journey. It was also a time when he began to experiment with his style more. Now he’s a Gucci ambassador, but before he was just a guy in a floral Gucci suit. Long hair and patterned suits became his style, before the big chop.

In 2016, after One Direction was disbanded, Harry Styles cut off his long gorgeous locs and donated them to the Little Princess Trust. A charity organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair during cancer treatments. However, the style in which he cut his hair was partly due to his upcoming role in the Christopher Nolan movie Dunkirk. This was Harry Styles’ first movie, but also the first time fans had seen him with short hair in years.

During the release of his second studio album Fine Line, Harry Styles once again began growing his hair back out. His curls parted nicely down the middle, framing his face, and stopped just above his ears. One of the fans’ favorite moments with this hair was when Harry Styles played double duty on SNL as both host and musical guest.

And finally, one can not discuss Harry Styles’ hair without bringing up a look dubbed by fans as ‘the prince hair era’. Harry Styles’ hair was always longer than the other members of One Direction, but in 2014 as all of the other boys cut their hair, Harry kept growing his out to shoulder length.
Many fans are waiting to see if Harry Styles will keep letting his hair grow or cut it all again, but whatever he decides we can’t wait to see what new iconic Harry Styles hair is next.
