It begins with three contestants being put to the test each week in front of a panel of celebrity judges, among them Vanessa Simmons, Lauren Lake, Kandi Burruss, Carla Hall, Mikki Taylor and Lisa Price. The players pitch their products before taking on a business challenge that could entail executing the perfect elevator pitch or creating a viral marketing campaign on social media. The six winners return for semifinal and final round episodes, during which the judges narrow the field and ultimately select the winner of the $25,000 “Queen Boss Start-Up Fund” grand prize. TV personality Tracey Edmonds hosts.
