Prime Video Unveils Trailer for New Docuseries Spy High

Prime Video has officially released the trailer for Spy High, a gripping new four-part docuseries produced by Mark Wahlberg’s Unrealistic Ideas and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jody McVeigh-Schultz.

At the heart of Spy High is the compelling real-life story of 15-year-old Blake Robbins, who filed a lawsuit against his prestigious public school after being accused of selling drugs—allegedly based on secret surveillance. What starts as a suburban scandal soon unravels into a much larger conversation about digital privacy, control, and the ethical dilemmas schools face in monitoring their students.

Spy High isn’t just a story about digital privacy,” says director Jody McVeigh-Schultz. “It’s about how we make decisions as communities, how we decide what’s best for our kids, and who makes those decisions. It’s about what we prioritize and value, as our schools mold and shape young people into fully-formed adults. It’s about the often blurry line between protecting our children… and controlling them.”

The docuseries boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Mark Wahlberg, Archie Gips, and Stephen Levinson under their Unrealistic Ideas banner, alongside Aliza Rosen (The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey, My Mom’s Murder), Jody McVeigh-Schultz, and David Wendell. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.

Founded by Mark Wahlberg, Archie Gips, and Stephen Levinson, Unrealistic Ideas is dedicated to transforming the non-fiction television and film landscape. The company has produced critically acclaimed documentaries such as McMillion$, Wahl Street, The Murders at Starved Rock, The Golden Boy, and MoviePass, MovieCrash.

The official trailer for Spy High is now available. All four episodes premiere exclusively on Prime Video on April 8.
