Prime Video Unveils First Look for The Better Sister

Prime Video has officially revealed the first look at its highly anticipated limited series The Better Sister, starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. The eight-episode crime thriller, based on the bestselling novel by Alafair Burke, will premiere on May 29, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.

The gripping drama follows Chloe (Jessica Biel), a high-powered media executive with a seemingly perfect life alongside her husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and teenage son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan). Meanwhile, her estranged sister Nicky (Elizabeth Banks) struggles to make ends meet while battling her past demons. Their worlds collide when Adam is found brutally murdered, forcing the sisters to reunite in a desperate quest for the truth—one that unearths deep family secrets and shocking revelations.

Alongside Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks, the series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Kim Dickens as Detective Nancy Guidry, Bobby Naderi as Detective Matt Bowen, Gabriel Sloyer as Jake Rodriguez, Gloria Reuben as Michelle Sanders, Matthew Modine as Bill Braddock, and Lorraine Toussaint as Catherine Lancaster.
