Prime Video has announced the greenlight for For the Win: NWSL, a new docuseries that will provide an in-depth look at the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League playoffs and Championship.
The four-part series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, offering fans unprecedented access to the intensity, resilience, and passion that define the league’s top teams and players.
For the Win: NWSL will showcase some of the brightest stars in the game, from seasoned veterans like Alex Morgan and Orlando Pride legend Marta, who helped secure the 2024 NWSL Championship, to rising talents such as Trinity Rodman and Croix Bethune of the Washington Spirit. The series will feature exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes locker-room moments, and thrilling match highlights, giving viewers an intimate look at what it takes to compete at the highest level of the fastest-growing league in the world.
Presented by Prime Video Sports, the documentary is produced by Words + Pictures in association with the NWSL. Marie Margolius directs, with executive producers Connor Schell and Libby Geist of Words + Pictures, Eli Manning of Ten Till, and Alex Morgan of TOGETHXR.
Prime Video’s commitment to women’s soccer extends beyond For the Win: NWSL. The platform is also the home of the 2025 Challenge Cup, which will feature a highly anticipated rematch between Trinity Rodman’s Washington Spirit and Marta’s Orlando Pride on Friday, March 7. Additionally, Prime Video will launch a 25-game regular-season Friday night schedule starting March 14, kicking off with Orlando hosting the newly minted Chicago Stars FC.
