AFTERBUZZ TV – Pretty Little Liars edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. In this episode, hosts Stephanie Wenger and Whitney Lane break down the “What Becomes of the Broken Hearted” episode in which Aria, Emily and Hanna continue to worry about Spencer who continues on a downward spiral from her break-up with Toby. They find her in the courtyard in a heated debate with Andrew Campbell who has just told Spencer she is off the decathlon team for lack of focus and too many missed practices. Emily tries to talk to Spencer but Spencer refuses and finds a message from “A” on her sunglasses, which reads “You rat out T, I take down 1 of your 3 -A.” Later, Spencer challenges Andrew to a studying game that involves stripping, with the deal being that if Spencer wins, she can compete in the decathlon. But the study game is interrupted by Emily. After Andrew leaves, Emily and Spencer get into a fight. Emily tells Spencer she’s going to find Toby and get some answers but Spencer sternly warns against it and provides Emily with no explanation. Meanwhile, Hanna goes back to Jamie and learns that he is, in fact, Caleb’s father. Jamie fears Caleb wouldn’t want to meet him due to his past criminal record for petty theft, but she persuades him and Caleb to meet in Rosewood. Hanna also convinces Ashley to talk to Pastor Ted about hiring Jamie. Later, Emily meets Jason whom she tells about the picture of Detective Wilden she saw in the police station. Jason tells her he has seen a picture of Alison on a boat in Cape May, which is stored in his dad’s new office. He wonders if it is Wilden’s boat. CeCe calls Aria and asks her to help with a photo shoot at the boutique. Aria drags Wes along with her. CeCe gets them set up, but leaves to go get dinner. CeCe calls Aria later and says that her car has been towed. We see CeCe sitting in her car, proving that she is a liar and up to something. Having no place to stay, Aria invites Wes to sleep on the couch at her house where they share a kiss. Jason and Emily sneak in to his dad’s office and find the picture. The picture is part of a collage Ali had made her dad. They move the other pictures to reveal Ali standing between Wilden and CeCe. They take the picture on their way out, but they get trapped in an elevator. Emily escapes, but Jason does not and plummets to the ground. At the hospital, Jason tells Emily he lost the picture. Just as the girls reunite, they discover Jason has disappeared. At the end, two members of the A Team spin an empty bottle of whiskey at four full bottles of whiskey with each of the girls’ pictures on them. The empty bottle lands on Aria’s bottle. But then they shift the bottle to point at Spencer’s. One A Team member raises the bottle of whiskey with Spencer’s picture and pours it into two empty glasses. They share a toast.
