AFTERBUZZ TV – Pretty Little Liars edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. In this episode, host David Schifilliti breaks down the “Breaking the Code” episode in which Spencer tells the girls she got the $2,000 for Jonah from a relative. Aria and Spencer plan to meet Jonah at 6. Spencer tells Melissa Jason is their half-brother. Melissa is angry their mother would keep a secret like this. Spencer says Alison knew. Melissa leaves the house, not wanting to see their parents. At Hanna’s house, Mona gets a text from A. She says the texts started a few days ago and A has been accusing her of shoplifting things. The texts are also about Hanna’s mom, and “A” sent Mona a photo of Wilden and Ashley the night they had sex. Hanna questions what Mona would do with the picture if A started threatening her. Aria and Spencer meet Jonah at the park. They give him the money and he gives them an address, but Jonah won’t disclose anything else. As the girls leave, they notice Garrett watching them in his car. Ashley tells Hanna if anybody found out about the picture, Ashley could lose Hanna because Tom could sue for full custody with this information. Ella shows Aria the note A sent to Byron. She brings up the letter she got from “A” last year about Meredith. Paige reveals to Emily that she came out to her parents. Hanna tells the girls about her mom sleeping with Wilden to get her out of trouble. She mentions Mona getting “A” texts about it. Aria tells the girls that A sent her dad a note trying to catch Ezra and Aria and now Ella wants to find out who A is, and admits she and Ezra are still seeing each other. Caleb sends the girls an e-mail with another part of Ian’s video. Melissa walks into Alison’s room, angrily asking where Alison is. Spencer wants to talk to Melissa first before the other girls turn her in. Mona shows Hanna an incident report from when Hanna shoplifted the sunglasses, sent by A. “A” threatened Mona to give the report and picture to the newspaper or else she’ll be filling out a police report. Spencer waits for Melissa at a bar as Wren chats with her. Garrett arrives outside and Melissa gets into his car. Wren mentions he saw them together at a doctor’s appointment. Hanna tells Mona about “A” and Mona asks what to do about the report. Aria, Hanna, and Emily go to the address Jonah gave of a law firm but the girls leave in a hurry when an alarm is set off. At Wren’s apartment, Spencer makes out with Wren. The next morning, Mona reveals to Hanna she returned the jewelry she stole saving Hanna and her mom. At lunch, A sends Mona a note saying she didn’t fall for the trap – yet. Hanna invites Mona to sit at her friends’ table. Ezra tells Aria he has to move away and take the job or else Aria’s dad will know what’s making him stay. Ella goes to Ezra’s apartment saying she wants to understand. Melissa says she needs to tell Spencer something that she wanted to tell her at Ian’s funeral. In Hanna’s bedroom, Ashley spots the letter Aria picked up from the law firm and mentions Melissa worked there as a summer intern. A police officer arrives at Emily’s to talk about Maya. In the final scene, A is seen using Mr. Hastings’ stolen gun for target practice. There to help David are co-hosts Pat Lambert and Grace. It’s Pretty Little Liars’ “Breaking the Code” podcast!
