Premieres For The Week Of February 21st, 2021

This week we see the return of some fan favorites, as well as some highly anticipated films! Below is the list of everything premiering this week.

Sunday, February 21st

90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life

The latest 90 Day spinoff six singles who couldn’t make love work the first time around are giving it a second chance. They will learn to navigate the world of online dating, set up dates, leave behind baggage, and become learn to trust in hopes of becoming exclusive with someone new. Two episodes will drop every Sunday at 3:01 am PT on Discovery+.

90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life Pillow Talk

To accompany the new show of course comes “expert” commentary. 90 Day alumni will watch back the episode and give their opinion and reactions to what happens during the episode. The episodes will air every week with the original show on Sundays at 3:01 am PT on Discovery+.

Modern Marvels

In the eighteenth season of the show, host Adam Richman travels the country giving a behind-the-scenes of the iconic brand and deep dives into how some of our favorite foods are made. New episodes will be available every Sunday at 10 pm PT on History.

Mountain Monsters: By the Fire

The first season of the spinoff premieres. The series will follow a team of trappers as they hunt down legendary beasts in the Appalachian mountains. The trappers will use trails with fresh evidence mixed with eyewitness accounts to hopefully entrap the beasts. The series will premiere with three episodes followed by one episode airing every week on Sundays at 3:01 am on Discovery+.

When Calls The Heart

The newest season of the beloved Hallmark show makes its 2021 debut. This season will definitely bring drama with more surprises and challenges for the residents of Hope Valley. The season will be twelve episodes long with new episodes airing every Sunday at 9 pm PT on the Hallmark Channel.

Wicked Tuna

The oceanic show premieres its tenth season. The show follows fishermen from Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they earn their living in pursuit of the prized bluefin tuna. This season follows a Southern fleet of top captains along with the returning Northern boats, all battling to catch bluefin in the dangerous waters off the coast of North Carolina. New will air every Sunday at 9pm PT on NGC.

Monday, February 22nd

Spring Baking Championship

The spring edition of the hit baking show premieres. Host Ali Khan returns to present eleven competitors from across the country with spring-themed baking challenges for a chance to take home the $25,000 grand prize and a spot in Food Network Magazine. The season will be ten episodes long with new episodes airing every Monday at 9 pm PT on The Food Network.

Tuesday, February 23rd

Assembly Required

The new series is produced by Tim Allen and stars host Richard Karn, this marks the 30th anniversary of the pairs original television debut. The series will also feature Youtube star April Wilkerson as the series resident expert. The show will spotlight the best and brightest makers from across the country, as they compete head-to-head, to create mind-blowing builds. From a dual all-season ice melter/leaf blower and all-in-one riding comfort mower to a do-it-yourself jacuzzi and BBQ bicycle. The season will be ten episodes long with new episodes airing every Tuesday at 10 pm PT on History.

MTV Unplugged: BTS

The special brings fans closer to Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook as they take a new look at the group’s latest album, Be, which dropped in November. The special will be available at 9 pm PT on MTV.

Outdaughtered

The show which features the Busby family and America’s first all-female quintuplets returns for its eighth season. The season will pick up after the family has been in quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The parents will try to handle their kids, spend extra family time together, and start kindergarten all at the same time. New episodes will air every Tuesday at 8pm PT on TLC.

Superman & Lois

The newest DC comic book series makes its debut. The series will see Clark Kent and Lois Lane return to Smallville with their sons Jonathan and Jordan. There they will be reunited with Lana Lang, Kyle Cushing, and their daughter Sarah. However, not all is as it seems as their life gets turned upside down when “The Stranger” comes to town. The series will be 15 episodes long with new episodes airing every Tuesday at 9 pm PT on The CW.

Wednesday, February 24th

Canine Intervention

The dog training show makes its series premiere! The show follows Oakland’s Jas Leverette as he works with a range of canines and owners to prove there is no dog that can’t learn new tricks. The entire first season will be available on Wednesday, February 24th on Netflix.

Design Star: Next-Gen

The new design spinoff premies its debut season. The series will be hosted by Allison Holker Boss and features eight gifted designers, renovators, and social media brand-builders as they compete in intense weekly challenges. During the series, head judge Jonathan Adler is joined by designer Lauren Makk and a rotating cast of celebrity guest experts. Together they will determine who is worthy of the prize of $50,000 and a shot at their own show. New episodes will air every Wednesday at 3:01 am PT on Discovery+ and at 9 pm PT on HGTV.

Ginny & Georgia

The new series follows teenage Ginny and her mother, Georgia, as they yearn to settle down after years on the run. However, the secrets in Georgia’s past jeopardize their endeavor. All ten episodes of the first season will be available on Wednesday, February 24th on Netflix.

Snowfall

The fourth season of the drug drama premieres. The series is set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it. The new season will be ten episodes long with new episodes airing every Wednesday at 10 pm PT on FX.

Thursday, February 25th

Close Enough

The comedy series makes its second season debut. The show features married couple Emily and Josh, their five-year-old daughter Candice, and their divorced best friends Bridgette and Alex. The adults navigate that transitional time in their 30s when life is about growing up, but not growing old. While their life may not be ideal, they come to understand that for now, it’s close enough. The entire second season will be available on Thursday, February 25th on HBO Max.

Floribama Shore

The popular beach set reality show premieres its fourth season. However, things won’t be so beach filled this season, as the crew is headed for the mountains of Montana and the sunshine of Lake Havasu, Arizona instead. With little distraction, the crew will be forced to tackle the incidents of last summer head-on and work together to overcome them. The first episode will air at 9 pm on Thursday and then move to its permanent slot of 8 pm on Thursdays the following week. Catch new episodes on MTV.

Luda Can’t Cook

The special cooking show starring Chris “Ludacris” Bridges will be a one-hour intense training as the singer tries to learn how to cook. James Beard will take on the difficult task of focusing on Ludacris’ favorite cuisine, Indian. In the end, Ludacris will have to serve his food to a room of VIPS, including his mom Roberta. The special will be available on Thursday, February 25th on Discovery+.

Punky Brewster

The highly anticipated reboot makes its debut. The series will be a continuation of the iconic 80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self. All ten episodes will be available on Thursday, February 25th on Peacock.

Friday, February 26th

Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry

The new documentary shows the coming-of-age story of the singer-songwriter and her rise to global superstardom. We will get to see a deeply intimate look at the teenage singer’s journey, at just 17 years old, as she navigates life on the road, on stage, and at home with her family, while writing, recording, and releasing her debut album. The documentary will be available on Friday, February 26th on Apple TV+.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Corona Can’t Keep A Good Queen Down

The new documentary special will follow the reality of filming the hit competition show during a global pandemic. The special will capture the hope and anxiety during the beginning of the Covid scare, to the creative challenges of prepping and executing the show safely. The special will feature interviews with the queens, never-before-seen footage, and casting reels. You can watch the documentary on Friday, February 26th at 8 pm PT on VH1.

Tom & Jerry

Everyone’s favorite cat and mouse duo are back, but this time on the silver screen! The film will follow Tom and Jerry as they try to survive being homeless after Tom is put out on the street after failing to do his job as a house cat, and Jerry is forced out due to lack of food. The two call a truce to their rivalry and go on their separate ways only to cross paths in New York City when Tom is hired to catch Jerry who has taken up residence at the Royal Gate Hotel. They may have to put their differences aside when they uncover a diabolical conspiracy that involves the deputy hotel manager Terrence. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Colin Jost, Pallavi Sharda, Rob Delaney, Bobby Cannavale, and Michael Peña. You can watch Tom and Jerry in theaters and on HBO Max on Friday, February 26th.

The United States vs. Billie Holiday

The Lee Daniels film is set in the 1940s, and follows Billie Holiday who is targeted by the government in an effort to racialize the war on drugs, ultimately aiming to stop her from singing her controversial song, “Strange Fruit”. The film stars Andra Day, Trevante Rhodes, Natasha Lyonne, and Garrett Hedlund. The film will be available on Hulu on Friday, February 26th.
