With Hulu’s CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair coming out on the 5th, we thought we’d share our guide to Nashville’s CMA Fest!
Hulu’s new documentary is going to be giving us a dive into the history and making of the Country Music Awards Festival, including some artists through the years. With that being said, here are some of our favorite country artists we’ve seen before and hope to see again!
Dolly Parton
Her last CMA performance was in 2006, and we know she’ll be making an appearance in the documentary. Maybe she’ll decide to come back to CMA again soon…
Lady A
Lady Antebellum has had classics going all the way to 2008, and they kill every time they go to CMA Fest.
Hardy
Hardy’s current hit song is “One Beer”, and this year he welcomed Devin Dawson to the stage to perform with him. This was Devin Dawson’s first time at CMA Fest and we hope to see him again in the future!
Old Dominion
Old Dominion is yet another classic artist that we live to see time again with songs going back to 2014.
Maddie & Tae
Maddie & Tae have been somewhat smaller artists that have blown up in the past couple of years. At last year’s CMA fest, they only played one song, the hit “Die From a Broken Heart”, but we’re hoping to see them get more opportunities on that stage soon!
Tim Mcgraw
Tim Mcgraw first appeared at CMA Fest in 1993 and he’s still appearing on that stage. We love to see and hear him perform his songs from the 90s to now!
Kenny Chesney
Is it really a country festival if Kenny Chesney isn’t there? We’re always hoping to see him on the lineup, whether we’re going to be hearing “American Kids” or “Summertime”.
Zac Brown Band
Zac Brown Band is a classic country band that we love to hear during the summertime, and their last CMA performance was in 2022. Hopefully, they’ll be back again next year.
Here are some good bars to hit while you’re in Nashville for CMA Fest and some artists you might run into along the way!
White Limozeen
Whenever you’re in Nashville for CMA Fest, going to this bar is a must, especially if you’re a Dolly fan. It’s almost all pink and includes a beautiful outdoor rooftop!
Casa Rosa
Miranda Lambert’s bar is a Tex Mex restaurant with a rooftop bar, so if you’re looking for some good margs, we highly recommend hitting this bar.
FGL House
FGL House is Florida-Georgia Line’s bar, and it’s a great bar to go to if you’re looking to dance before heading to the concerts!
Margaritaville
Margaritaville is always lively during CMA Fest, and it almost always has some live music going on. It’s a great spot to hit if you’re looking to run into artists, both big and small.
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar
Jason Aldean’s bar is really popular to go to and is also lively, being a great spot to eat, drink, and dance!
You’re most likely to see the artists who play at CMA repeatedly and who have their own bars on Broadway Street. A lot of times when they come to Nashville, they’ll even perform a bit at their bars! Common appearances have been:
Florida Georgia Line
Luke Bryan
Keith Urban
Jason Aldean
Blake Shelton
Carey Underwood
