A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder 

There’s a new sheriff in town! Oh, no it’s just Pip Fitz-Amobi, played by Emma Myers, back on the case! The hit young-adult novel, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder (AGGGTM) is hitting Netflix this August! BookTok, Bookstagram, and book lovers all around are in for a treat with this who-dunnit mystery novel turned series! 

The cold case of Sal Singh, or the gruesome murder of Andie Bell, still has a grip on Pip’s hometown and she believes there’s more to the story. Pip begins an investigation of her own as she looks into the case for her senior project, determined to get to the bottom of it! However, if Pip discovers that Sal didn’t do it this may open a whole new can of worms! Watch as this case unfolds on August 2nd!

Love is Blind: Mexico & Love Is Blind: UK

Get ready for huge drama from all over the world! This August we are getting Love is Blind from both Mexico and the United Kingdom! These lovers are ready to make connections that go beyond physical attraction! Can these new contestants find their forever partners from just a conversation?

Daughters is a documentary following the heart-warming story of four young girls preparing for the most special event of the year: a Daddy Daughter Dance with their incarcerated fathers, which is allowed through a special program at their Washington, D.C., jail. 

Directors Angela Patton and Natalie Rae truly know how to make anyone cry. There is nothing short of special in this documentary as it has already received 2 awards at the Sundance Film Festival, an award at the Miami Film Festival as well as two other nominations at Sundance and the Cleveland International Film Festival! Kaos

How would the world work if the Greek Mythological Gods ruled in our world? Starring Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer, Kaos takes a unique twist on Greek mythology. This series will retell the stories of long ago but through a modern lens! 

With creator Charlie Covell, a writer for The End of The F***ing World, Truelove, and Humans, this show is bound to be very, very clever! Watch as s*** gets real on August 29th!

The Deliverance

Though horror buffs are getting a feast this July with MaXXXine, Longlegs, and A Quiet Place: Day One, the fun does not stop there! The Deliverance is a horror/thriller film that follows a family living in a home in Indiana as they discover strange, demonic occurrences. These happenings convince them and the community that the house might just be a portal to hell! 

With stars such as Glenn Close, Andra Day, Caleb McLaughlin, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, this horrifying movie is sure to knock our socks off! Watch The Deliverance starting on August 30th!
