Now that season two of Netflix’s hit series Arcane has concluded, fans everywhere are sharing their thoughts. Let’s take a look at what fans are saying about the series, and if they want to see more in the future!
Series Overview
With the third act of the second, and as of now final season of Arcane out, it has left fans and critics taking in what the series had to offer, and the wild ride it took people on. As of now Netflix and Riot have no intention of continuing the storyline and most of the characters from Arcane. Instead they want to make different series based on other places and characters within the world of League of Legends.
As of now the journey with the characters fans came to know and love from Arcane season one and two has come to an end, with several characters not making it to the end. Some characters ended up dying or disappearing in some way, while many others were left to simply live on after the events of the series. Let’s take a look at what some fans are saying about the ending of Arcane.
Arcane Season 2 is a solid 9.5/10
Felt rushed near the end, but that doesn’t detract from how great the story, characters and music were.#Arcane2Spoilers
-Quick thoughts-Loved Cait x Vi, Jinx is still alive imo, Ekko should’ve stayed in the diff dimension + wish we got… pic.twitter.com/7iwVrhsPwc

Arcane S2✅
One of the greatest seasons of television I have ever seen. Although the pacing had some small issues here and there, the peaks, the emotional climaxes, the tragedies this season were so incredibly strong, that it makes those small issues basically irrelevant.

Many fans had overwhelmingly positive outlooks on the second season of Arcane, giving it large amounts of praise for the interesting plot and top notch animation. However not all shared the same opinions with a portion of fans having issues with certain aspects of the season.
Finished Arcane S2…
As beautiful as it is, it suffers from a bloated/convoluted story that needed at least 2 more seasons of build up and development in order to feel the weight of it all. The ending unfortunately feels rushed with abrupt & unearned payoffs. Reluctant 7.5/10😔 pic.twitter.com/a9HCJUCy33

Arcane S2 ✔️
Felt like two separate seasons frankensteined into one. On one hand this season is an audiovisual triumph with an even bolder direction and theming but on the other, its three-act approach serves as more of a detriment to its pacing rather than in favor of it. pic.twitter.com/Rd6f19p6o0

Finished Arcane, and man I never had such conflicting feelings. On one hand it’s an absolute masterpiece, but on the other there were some very rushed and out-of-place moments that hurt the 2nd season. Right now I’m giving it a 8.5/10 but that may change as I think on it more pic.twitter.com/1d1LwEA2AR

Many fans are in agreement that the pacing was the biggest issue with the second season of Arcane, with plot points feeling rushed and the conflict concluding rather quickly. However this does mean that everyone thinks it takes away from the overall enjoyment of the narrative as a whole.
Disappointed in Arcane Season 2
Act 2 seemed to be on the road to recovery but there just wasn’t enough time to wrap it all up.
It was brave to condense the story to one season, but so much is unexplained, is rushed or happens off screen.
S1 – 10/10 perfection
S2 – 7/10 at best— Nik 👾 (@Lustriga) November 24, 2024
Arcane Season 2 thoughts:
-not as strong as season 2 but still very good
-felt kind of rushed at the end
-DEFINITELY is not canon to LoL lore
-Episode 7 is a masterpiece

Season two of Arcane did give development to characters that weren’t exactly front and center in the first season. Characters like Ekko (Reed Shannon), Ambessa (Ellen Thomas), and others were given time to shine alongside the beloved characters from season one, such as Vi (Hailee Steinfeld), Jinx (Ella Purnell), Jayce (Kevin Alejandro), Viktor (Harry Lloyd), etc.
Overall, Arcane is receiving mixed reviews from fans across the internet, but for the most part fans are in agreement that the animation remained flawless, the music was consistent, and they enjoyed Arcane’s finale.
Additionally, many of the critics had extremely positive reviews about Arcane, with some giving it either perfect, or near perfect scores.

Arcane is one of the best animated projects of the modern age, and one of the best TV shows of the year, period. But it’s hard not to do like Ekko and imagine the second season that could have been if things were different with the last three episodes. Our review:… pic.twitter.com/O88lP0beZ5
