Set to debut on Netflix on February 5, 2025, Kinda Pregnant is a comedy directed by Tyler Spindel (The Out-Laws), with a screenplay by Julie Paiva and Amy Schumer. Kinda Pregnant follows Lainy (Amy Schumer), a woman who becomes jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy and decides to wear a fake baby bump. What starts as a misguided attempt to cope with her emotions soon takes an unexpected turn when she meets the man of her dreams. With a blend of outrageous humor and unexpected romance, the film explores themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery.
This marks Amy Schumer’s second lead role in a Netflix narrative feature, following her impressive lineup of stand-up specials and her recent appearance in Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut, Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story.
Produced by Adam Sandler, Tim Herlihy, Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, and Eli Thomas under Happy Madison, alongside Molly Sims for Something Happy Productions and Alex Saks for Saks Picture Company, Kinda Pregnant is set to bring audiences a fresh and witty take on love, deception, and unexpected self-discovery.
With its February 5th due date fast approaching, Kinda Pregnant is ready to deliver big laughs and heartfelt moments. Don’t miss it only on Netflix!
