Harry Styles has taken the music industry by storm since his first solo album ‘Harry Styles’ was released back in 2017 and his iconic concert series Love On Tour ended July 22, 2023. We’re taking a deep dive into Harry Styles’ music videos to see which 5 are the most popular!
5. Falling
“Falling” was released on December 13th, 2019 along with Styles’ second studio album, Fine Line. The song quickly became a fan favorite and currently has over 1 billion streams on Spotify. With this much love on the record, the anticipation for the music video took social media by storm.
The music video was released February 28th, 2020 and currently has over 169 million views. It features the singer in a room with a piano that is leaking water and flooding the room. Styles ignores the water and plays the song on the piano with a drink nearby. The symbolism of the rushing water, as well as the drink, perfectly encapsulates the emotion within the song. The beautiful color palette as well as the draping shirt floating in the water gives the entire video an ethereal atmosphere and paints a complete picture of the story the song is trying to tell.

4. Watermelon Sugar
From the same album, released November 16th 2019, “Watermelon Sugar” is a much more upbeat song that fully embodies the feeling of summer and currently has over 2.5 billion streams on Spotify.
The music video for the song was released on May 18th, 2020 and has over 367 million views. With the release being right at the beginning of COVID restrictions being uplifted, Styles dedicated the video to touching, which bodes well with the underlying meaning of the song. The video features Harry and other women eating watermelon on a beautiful sunny day by the beach. This video has a beautiful summery vibe, so if Winter has been getting you down, this is the one to watch!
It’s freezing outside so I’m listening to watermelon sugar and thinking about the music video and wishing for that. The beach. Watermelon. Beautiful people. Harry! Vibes. Warm summer vibes.

3. Adore You
Fine Line was a fan favorite, as the next song is also off the album. “Adore You” was released on December 6th 2019 and has garnered over 1.5 million streams on Spotify. This song has that same summer feeling with added undertones of desire and lust.
The music video is one of Styles’ more creative one as it follow a man who tries to save a fish that continually grows bigger and bigger. Eventually the fish grows to big for its tank and Harry has to release it back into the sea. The video was released on January 9th of 2020 and currently has over 408 million views. While this concept might seem absurd, it does fit the story of the song. As the man Harry portrays in the video loves the fish, eventually he must release it back where it came from and only hold onto the fond memories he has with the creature, adoring it from the sidelines.
doing music video analyze from adore you and im just like “the fish is symbolizing someone who is very important to harry bc he is singing “walked through fire for you just let me adore you” directly to the fish😍😍

2. As It Was
“As It Was” was released on April 1st, 2022. The song has been streamed over 3 billion times on Spotify and is one of the lead singles off of Harry’s third studio album, Harry’s House. The song has fun upbeat melody with contradicting lyrics that represent something much more sad than a listener would originally assume.
The music video, released on March 31st 2022, has over 697 million views to date. This video has a much more avant garde style in comparison to other videos put out by the singer. It portrays him constantly trying to hold onto this woman while they move backwards in time, chase each other on a turn-table, and get separated in an art installation. This perfectly captures both the vibe and the lyrics of the song. At first glance, one could believe that this video was an amusing way to pair the record with a similarly upbeat video; especially considering the brightly colored sets and costumes. But when paying attention to the action and emotions of the actors, it becomes clear that this is a much sadder tale of two people trying to hold onto each other through the ever changing landscape of life.
1. Sign Of The Times
“Sign of the Times” was released on April 7th, 2017, as a lead single off of Harry Styles first Album, Harry Styles. On Spotify, the song has over 1.4 billion streams. The song exploded as it was the singer’s first project since the disbanding of the internationally famous boy band, One Direction. Its melancholic lyrics and instrumental provide for an overwhelmingly emotional listen.
The video was originally released on May 8th, 2017 and has over 1.2 billion streams to date. It follows Harry as he walks through a field and is lifted up towards the sky, eventually traversing many different landscapes and then disappearing into the golden clouds above. This music video is absolutely stunning both in the design and in the landscapes that are shown throughout. It perfectly captures the essence of the song as the lyrics speak of disappearing into the sky and getting away from the realities of life. The music video is the most popular video on Styles’ YouTube channel to date.
