With the Major League Baseball 2022 season here, this series will take a look at what celebrities root for certain teams in the league. This past weekend, the Chicago Cubs opened up play. Let’s take a look at what celebrities were cheering them on!
Bob Newhart

Stephen Colbert has made it clear on and off his show that he supports the Cubs. He has gone to many games and sports their apparel when he is out in public.

Bill Murray
A Chicago favorite, it is no secret that Bill Murray is a Cubs fan and often sports the team logo when he is out. The actor and comedian often watches games at Wrigley and helps fire the crowd up.

Vince Vaughn
Similar to Murray, Vaughn tries to hype the crowd up at Wrigley when he can. The actor has been at multiple games with his family and has been featured on many of the pre-game talk shows to chat about all things Chicago Cubs.

Eddie Vedder grew up in Illinois and has been a Cubs fan his whole life. The singer has been to many games at Wrigley and has built a great relationship with the organization. So good in fact they even let him take batting practice.
