Married at First Sight Finds a New Home at Peacock

The hit reality series Married at First Sight is officially moving to Peacock, with its highly anticipated Season 19 set to debut in 2025.

Originally launched in 2014, the groundbreaking social experiment follows singles as they take the ultimate leap of faith—getting legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet. The series has since become a global phenomenon, with 30 localized versions around the world, making it the most adapted relationship format ever.

Produced by Kinetic Content and Chris Coelen (Love is Blind, The Ultimatum), Married at First Sight joins Peacock’s growing lineup of premium unscripted hits, including the Emmy-winning The Traitors, the fan-favorite Love Island USA, and the upcoming reunion of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in Paris & Nicole: The Encore.

The move marks a major shift for Married at First Sight, which previously aired on Lifetime and other A+E Networks platforms, including FYI and A&E. According to Deadline, the bidding war for the hit reality series ended with Peacock securing the rights in a deal reportedly worth over $50 million.

The show’s success has sparked eight spinoffs and 30 international adaptations, solidifying its place as one of the most influential relationship reality formats worldwide. As Married at First Sight prepares for its Peacock debut in 2025 with Season 19, fans can expect the same high-stakes romance and drama as couples navigate their wedding night, honeymoon, and an intense eight-week trial period before deciding if their love can last.
