Tis’ the season for the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey!
It’s almost December and that means Christmas is just around the corner. The season has been unofficially deemed Mariah Carey’s territory since the initial release of the groundbreaking song, “All I Want for Christmas is You”, in 1994. Just last year, Carey revisited this song in a new music video and version which racked up 58 million views on Youtube.
However, that’s just not enough for Christmas fans who want more Mariah. Lucky for them, Apple TV+ has officially announced a Mariah Carey Christmas Special set to release on December 4th!
Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special is the show in question and will feature a cast of well-known stars. Some of these talents include Snoop Dogg, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Tiffany Haddish!
The glamorous show will star Carey as Santa Claus’ best friend who will be tasked with saving Christmas by the man himself!
Fans will be extra excited to hear that the soundtrack for the special will include variations of new and old music. Earlier this month, fans were taking guesses as to which stars would be performing with Carey when the artist posted a photo that featured the initials “AG” and “JH”. We have finally learned the lead single on the track is “Oh Santa!” which features Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande! The three will join forces in a special music video for the song as well.
The full soundtrack will be released on Apple Music exclusively on December 4th, but move to other music platforms in the following days.
We are really getting into the Christmas spirit early this year and can’t wait for the special!
