Élite
Elite is a show incomparable to any high school drama tv show you’ve ever watched. You could think of this show as Gossip Girl on steroids in many ways because it is that good. It follows a group of friends from various backgrounds forced to work together to find who the murder of one of their friends is. There is so much drama packed into a season, and currently, there are four seasons out on Netflix. One of the best parts of the series is how they show that anyone from any background can be friends, and though there are many differences between each character, they all need each other to support one another in the end.

The Mess You Leave Behind
Yes, this is another high school thriller, but it’s from a teacher’s perspective this time. Raquel Valero, the teacher, played by Inma Cuesta, starts a new teaching position at a high school but is haunted by the death of a previous teacher that she replaced, who died a couple of weeks before her arrival. Of course, the students had to give her a hard time, such as blackmailing her and finding any way possible to force her out. It explores her relationship with her students and how she manages to find her way out of this situation that was brought upon her since she arrived at the new school.
