Happy Thanksgiving! To celebrate we’re taking a look at how the Kardashians and Jenners spend their turkey day!
Thanksgiving is a time to get together with all of your loved ones. We know from their show the Kardashians will never pass up an opportunity to have a family gathering, so we’re detailing out how they celebrate!
According to a holiday special of KUWTK, every Thanksgiving starts off with the family going around and saying what they’re thankful for.

In 2014, Kris Jenner told People that the Kardashian and Jenner family love a good traditional dinner with all of the classic foods. “We do a very traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It’s turkey and dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, and stuffing.” She also added that at every Thanksgiving gathering you’re bound to find a bunch of desserts!
Khloe Kardashian is famous for her oreo and monkey cake upon many other tasty desserts, Khloe is known to be the main cook for Thanksgiving. Of course, Kris helps out with her sweet potato souffle and fresh whipping cream and Kylie Jenner makes the yams.
For a more sentimental tradition, Kris told Glamour in 2015, that every Thanksgiving she gives the kids a sentimental gift. In 2015, she gave the family an Armenian pancake recipe that was her grandma’s. She laminated a postcard with the recipe and gave it to every family member. Kris said she does this cause she likes to give the kids something new and something old for this holiday.
Kim Kardashian also told Glamour that Thanksgiving is a time to remember her fondest memories with her dad, Robert Kardashian. Kim said one of her favorite memories to think about is skiing in colorado with him every Thanksgiving, she told Glamour they started doing that when she was just two years old.
One of the newest traditions the family has that started in 2018, is going to the desert and just having one big family slumber party. Kim said in a bonus clip from the 16th season of KUWTK “I love that we’re all staying together. That’s what makes it so fun…Even if there are sleeping bags and we’re figuring it out and sleeping on the couch, that’s what makes it fun.”
Of course, let’s not forget about all of the over-the-top decorations! Perhaps one of the best things about a Kardashian holiday is all the time and thought they put into making their houses look so festive. Kris Jenner told Rachel Ray that she has a specific set of plates and bowls she likes to use, and of course, turkey napkin holders. Every Kardashian/Jenner is a big fan of having floral decorations. When Kylie hosted her first Thanksgiving her house was decked out with white flowers and gold decorations.
