Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Are Married

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have officially tied the knot ahead of Magazine Dreams film premiere and after a 4 month engagement.

The Creed III actor, 35, confirmed the news during an interview with Sherri Shepherd on Wednesday, revealing that his mother, a pastor, officiated the intimate ceremony. Meagan Good, 43, and Jonathan Majors exchanged vows in Los Angeles, with both of their mothers present for the occasion.

“We had told her that, ‘Hey, we’re going to do this thing,'” Majors shared, recalling how his mother traveled from Dallas to attend a screening of his new movie, Magazine Dreams. “And we did. My mother married us yesterday. Her mother was there. We had these rings, and we got them engraved in Hawaii.”

Jonathan Majors also reflected on the momentous day, telling Meagan Good, “Today might be the happiest day of my life.”

This marks Jonathan Majors’ first marriage, while Meagan Good was previously married to DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2022. The couple first sparked dating rumors in May 2023 and confirmed their engagement in November 2024.

Meagan Good stood by Jonathan Majors throughout his highly publicized legal troubles. The actor was found guilty in December 2023 of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, and was sentenced to a 52-week domestic violence therapy program in April 2024. Amid the legal battle, Marvel Studios dropped Jonathan Majors from his role as Kang the Conqueror.

Recently, Rolling Stone released an audio clip that appeared to capture Jonathan Majors admitting to assaulting Grace Jabbari, where he acknowledged he had “aggressed” her. This resurfaced recording reignited discussions about his past actions.

Despite widespread controversy, Meagan Good defended her commitment to Jonathan Majors in a Hollywood Reporter profile, saying, “People tend to move out of the way out of concern for their careers or their reputations. To me, that’s not real love. If you know someone and if you believe in someone, it’s not conditional.”

In a previous Today interview, Meagan Good admitted that “every friend advised” her against dating Jonathan Majors amid his legal battles. However, she stood by her decision, stating, “Whatever happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”

Jonathan Majors reflected on his personal evolution during an interview with USA TODAY, emphasizing the importance of connection. “I was so focused on separation of church and state, a bit of an isolationist, a bit of a lone wolf,” he said. “But in the past two years, with everything I’ve been participating in, and all the reflection I’ve gotten to have… I understand that there is a need to connect.”

His marriage announcement comes just as he prepares for the release of Magazine Dreams, a film that was initially set for a 2023 debut but was shelved due to his legal issues. The movie’s upcoming premiere adds another layer of complexity to a period of both personal and professional transformation for the actor.
