The film follows Mal (Dove Cameron), the daughter of Maleficent (Kristin Chenoweth), Evie (Sofia Carson), the daughter of the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy), Jay (Booboo Stewart), the son of Jafar (Maz Jabrani), and Carlos (Cameron Boyce), the son of Cruella de Vil (Wendy Raquel Robinson). High School Movie Film Trilogy

If you are feeling in a joyful mood, all three of the High School Musical films are the way to go! Lead actors Zac Efron as Troy Bolton and Vanessa Hudgens as Gabriella Montez star in the film, which centers on a top athlete at his school and an intelligent student named Gabriella, who meet during a New Year’s party. It turns out they now attend the same school and, in a strange twist of fate, decide to audition for their high school’s upcoming musical. All three films are ones that bring back those feelings of happiness with every song and scene. A theme that director Kenny Ortega does not miss, you gotta love an upbeat moment.

When you’re feeling inspired, watch the film Newsies, which is based on the true story of the 1899 newsboys strike. The film centers on Jack Kelly (Christian Bale) and his newcomer friends David (David Moscow) and Les (Luke Edwards), who try to earn money through the distribution of newspapers. When all of a sudden, their publisher, Joseph Pulitzer (Robert Duvall), sets new regulations in place that make it harder for him and his friends to make an earning, they decide to gather up all the newsboys of New York City to go on strike. This is a film with musical numbers and movement that will leave you feeling determined to take on anything.

Hocus Pocus

A great film for when you are feeling wicked, or are longing for Halloween time, is Hocus Pocus, a film that never gets old with time. The story is about the three Sanderson sisters, Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy), who were witches that were executed during the 17th century. However, before their death, they enacted a spell that would allow them to come back should a virgin light the black flame candle. This is exactly what happens when in modern times, new in town teenager Max (Omri Katz) unleashes the witches to cause havoc in the small town of Salem. It’s up to him, his little sister Dani (Thora Birch), and his new friend and crush Allison (Vinessa Shaw) to set things right before the sisters are able to stay for good.
