Fans received a sweet surprise when it was revealed that Hilarie, Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s real wife, will play Lucille in the show’s additional episodes for season 10.
You read that right! The Hilarie Burton Morgan will be on The Walking Dead.
Not only that, but she will be acting alongside her real-life husband!
Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the past has said that he would want Hilarie to play his on screen wife and we finally get to see that happen.
Hilarie took to Twitter to confirm the news and showed her hubby some love.
Been pretty hard to keep this a secret. 💕
But I love working with @JDMorgan . I love watching him become #Negan and take on that swagger. And I love the @TheWalkingDead family. They’ve been a part of our family for ages and I’m so grateful for their kindness. Xoxo #hereslucille https://t.co/9tRh7NB8WY— Hilarie Burton Morgan (@HilarieBurton) November 3, 2020
Hilarie is no stranger to the acting world as she got her breakthrough role in 2003 playing the iconic character that is Peyton Sawyer on One Tree Hill.
She met her friend Danneel Ackles, wife of Jensen Ackles, who ultimately set her up with her future husband Jeffrey!
Jeffrey worked with Jensen on Supernatural where he played his father, John Winchester.
It was only a matter of time before both Jeffrey and Hilarie met to make the amazing couple they are now. (P.S. Danneel and Jensen made them go on blind date and it’s history from there)
