Heat-Knicks Game Delayed After Tracy Morgan Gets Sick

Monday night’s game between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden took an unexpected pause after comedian and actor Tracy Morgan became sick courtside. The game was halted with 6:09 left in the third quarter as workers cleaned the area around Morgan’s seat, leading to a delay that lasted for more than 10 minutes.

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden issued a statement wishing Tracy Morgan a speedy recovery, adding that they looked forward to seeing him back in his usual courtside spot. The Associated Press also reached out to Tracy Morgan’s representatives for comment, but no response has been given yet.

Tracy Morgan, 56, is a devoted Knicks fan and was recently in the spotlight during the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary celebrations. He appeared at both the SNL50: The Homecoming Concert and the live SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration special.

The comedian also has a new, untitled comedy pilot in the works at NBC. The show will feature Tracy Morgan as a disgraced former football player trying to repair his image, with Daniel Radcliffe co-starring.

Despite the mid-game disruption, the Knicks remained dominant, securing a 116-95 win over the Heat.
