This comes in response to one of Styles’ biggest critics of his Vogue cover look last month, Candace Owens. She was quick to criticize Styles for wearing a dress, saying, “there is no society that can survive without men.” Owens ended her tweet by saying, “bring back manly men.”
There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence.
It is an outright attack.Bring back manly men. https://t.co/sY4IJF7VkK

There has been a lot of support and love for the singer wearing a dress, but there was also some hate, like Owens.

The statement “bring back manly men” has since gone viral. Many have supported Styles in saying that wearing a dress or femine clothing doesn’t make you any less of a man.
Styles’ latest post is directed at Owens, who was quick to comment back again. She tweeted, “When people try to tell me I don’t have influence, and then @Harry_Styles dedicates an entire post to my tweet. I inspire global conversation.”

Owens has carried on tweeting about Styles’ latest post, which is a part of his Variety Hitmaker of the Year shoot, saying, “the Left is literally trying to claim the expression ‘Bring Back Manly Men’ is an act of violence.”
In his Variety interview, Styles says, “to not wear [something] because it’s females’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes. And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It doesn’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
Styles’ has received an outpouring of love and support again on his most recent post, most from fellow celebrities and fans.
Tan France, one of Queer Eyes fab five, commented on Styles’ most recent post, writing, “YES PLEASE, IF THEY LOOK LIKE THIS! ”
Derek Blasberg, a fashion journalist, commented, “a real man will eat a banana and make eye contact with you.”
Lewis Blissett said “the most manly” and “MY BABYY” on Styles’ post.
Marc Jacobs commented with 3 red heart emojis, and Harry Lambert commented 4 red heart emojis on the photo.
