Record Label Halcyon is Doing A Livestream Fundraiser for Yakz!
David Mitori, better known as Yakz, is a DJ who has made a name for himself in the bass music scene after touring with fellow musicians Svdden Death and Somnium Sound. Yakz was originally a metal vocalist however he found his niche in the bass music community. Alongside touring with these big names, Yakz has released several songs with them, the most popular of which being Shut Em Down with Svdden Death.
But now Yakz needs our help! On top of a previously diagnosed heart murmur, Yakz has periodontitis, a gum disease that can prove fatal if left untreated. In the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic, Yakz along with many DJ’s have lost their main source of income: live shows. Because of this Oolacile and his record label Halcyon have decided to put on a fundraising livestream in which viewers can contribute to Yakz’s GoFundMe and enjoy a great show by a bunch of amazing DJ’s!
Bass heavyweights Svdden Death, Aweminus, and Oolacile himself will be performing in the hopes of raising money for Yakz. As of the time of writing this article, Yakz is almost at his goal of $20,000 for his surgery!
