Wizards of Waverly Place ran for 4 seasons and during that time numerous guest stars appeared on the show. We’re taking a look at some that people might have forgotten about or not even noticed!
Wizards of Waverly Place is an iconic Disney show that aired in the early 2000s and captured the hearts of many viewers. While Selena Gomez is the actress most often associated with the show, there were some other famous actors that made appearances during the show’s run that you may have forgotten about.
Shakira
The Russo’s get majorly surprised when they discover that their Uncle Kelbo is also famous Colombian singer Shakira. He uses a spell to magically transform between himself and the superstar. However, things get muddled when he is unable to control the transformation and is randomly transforming. This episode was hilarious and we loved seeing Shakira do some acting!
Dwayne Johnson
The famous wrestler/actor appears as himself and has a brief conversation with Alex. He initially approaches her asking if she knew where Max was, but the conversation quickly derails as the actor tries desperately to get Alex to recognize who he is. This may have been a short cameo appearance but we loved it nonetheless!
Gregg Sulkin
The English actor Gregg Sulkin had a recurring role in the show as Alex’s love interest who also happened to be a werewolf. Alex and Sulkin’s character, Mason, met during art class and their relationship blossomed from there on. Their relationship may not have been endgame but we will always have a special place for it in our hearts.
Bailee Madison
Alex and Justin accidentally zap Max while arguing about spells causing him to turn into a girl which the siblings refer to as Maxine. Bailey has already said if a reboot were to happen and Jake was unable to come back that she would happily take up the character again. We need this reboot ASAP and while we’re not sure about a permanent Maxine instead of Max, there has to be a way to bring her back for an episode at least!
Lucy Hale
Lucy Hale is most popularly known for her role as Aria in Pretty Little Liars but before that, she played the role of Justin’s new girlfriend. Justin is desperately trying to get his first kiss while at the movies with Hale. Alex attempts to help him out by continuously moving back time, but things keep getting in the way, literally! Their relationship was rather short-lived, but Hale still left us with a ton of laughs and an unforgettable appearance.
