Grant Ellis tells Bachelor Nation to ‘stay classy’ after finale fallout. The Bachelor season 29 star speaks out after fan reactions to his proposal, reminding critics that he’s just happy and found love.
The Bachelor season 29 winner Grant Ellis isn’t letting the backlash bring him down. The 31-year-old reality star took to TikTok to share his thoughts following criticism of his engagement to Juliana Pasquarosa, making it clear that he’s focusing on his happiness, not the drama.
“When Bach nation is everyone tryna get clout by taking shots and you just a Guy who’s happy he found love and happy his dad is sober,” Grant wrote over a TikTok video of himself in a car on Monday, March 31. He added a purple heart emoji, signaling his positivity despite the negativity.

Grant doubled down in the caption, writing, “Stay classy bachelor nation,” followed by another purple heart. His fiancée, Juliana, 28, chimed in with support in the comments section, writing, “We stay in our own lane bby 🦐🏻 beyond proud of you AND your father 💜.”
The post came just one day after Juliana shared her own message on TikTok, revealing she had no intention of changing her life after appearing on the show.
“One thing about me is before filming The Bachelor, I created this life for myself that I absolutely love. And I didn’t go into this experience trying to create a new life after it. I came into this experience trying to find a man to bring into the life that I currently love. Just food for thought,” she said in the March 30 video.

She also made it clear that she’s not jumping on the influencer bandwagon. “Back in Newton, [Massachusetts], staying in Boston, not moving to L.A. I would love to take advantage of opportunities that present itself to me as long as it aligns with who I am and the type of life I want to live but otherwise, I’m really just a girl from Boston, Massachusetts.”
Juliana captioned her post, “We all have different paths in life & it’s all good whatever you chose for yours 🦑.”
The Bachelor season 29 finale saw Grant get down on one knee and propose to Juliana, choosing her over runner-up Litia Garr. However, Litia, who appeared visibly blindsided, later claimed she would have “a lot of questions” if she were Juliana based on the promises Grant allegedly made to her.
During the live portion of the episode, Grant addressed Litia’s disappointment and offered an apology, though he pushed back on some of her claims.
“I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said,” Grant told Us Weekly. “But I think that having a little more clarity — when you are The Bachelor, you do see your final two contestants as somebody that could be your wife.”
Grant acknowledged that things said off-camera left room for interpretation but ultimately, he wanted to respect Litia’s feelings. “At that point in time, I can’t really say much. I’m not gonna argue, I just have to accept whatever the conditions are and apologize and let her feel how she feels because she’s in a tough situation and she’s hurt. I understand.”
Now that the dust is settling, Grant and Juliana are looking ahead to their future together. The couple has confirmed that they are planning to stay in Boston and are in no rush to tie the knot.
“We have to do some normal things where it feels exciting to plan that,” Juliana said. “We are coming down from such a crazy high right now. I don’t wanna just try and keep it going — I really want to plateau a bit and just live normally for a minute and then we can start planning and have fun and do all those things.”
Despite the criticism, Grant remains firm in his belief that he made the right choice. His message to fans is simple: he’s happy, in love, and not looking back.
