Gabby Windey, Charli D’Amelio, and More on The Cast Joining Season 31 Dancing With The Stars. We’re letting you know who the cast is and where you know them from!

Get ready to watch your favorite celebrity stars test their fate on the dance floor! Dancing with the Stars Season 31 is back and better than ever with the competition streaming exclusively for the first time on Disney+. Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro will join forces in hosting the series alongside returning judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. Gabby Windey
If you love her on The Bachelorette, you won’t have to say goodbye just yet. Instead of finding love and handing out a rose, Windey will be showing us her moves in the ballroom. Other than the series, this TV personality was an NFL cheerleader for the Denver Broncos and an intensive care unit nurse at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. She was also the first woman to be honored with the Pop Warner Humanitarian Award.
Wayne Brady
Although you won’t be seeing Brady singing in a fox costume as he did on The Masked Singer, he will be making his way back to the screen by trying another skill set. Brady is an actor, comedian, singer, and TV Personality. He is well known for his work on Whose Line Is it Anyway? which also won him an Emmy in 2003. Besides being on screen Brady is a part of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a nonprofit that alleviates financial troubles with sick children.The real question remains: will he be able to win this competition and take home the ball?
Charli D’Amelio
Those in the Gen Z era know that D’Amelio’s fame rose over TikTok from her remakes of viral dance videos. This social media star currently has 146.7M followers and 11.1B likes on her account that continue to rise daily. Other than being known in the social media universe, D’Amelio also was the first TikToker to star in a Super Bowl commercial, starred in the Hulu docuseries The D’Amelio Show, and has a clothing brand with Hollister at just eighteen-years-old.
Heidi D’Amelio
As the saying goes “like mother like daughter”… that saying gets flipped with Charli D’Amelio’s mother following in her daughter’s footsteps as a contestant. D’Amelio is known as an American photographer, social media personality, philanthropist, and a former model. She also appeared on the Hulu docuseries The D’Amelio Show and is also the manager of her daughters Charli and Dixie’s social media accounts. You’ll have to wait to see their rivalry on the dance floor.
Sam Champion
Champion is no stranger to television. He began at Eyewitness News in 1988 as the weekend and 5:00pm weather anchor. In 2006 he became the weather anchor for Good Morning America (GMA), while in 2012 became the managing editor for the weather channel. In 2019, Champion returned back to WABC and became the weather anchor for Eyewitness News This Morning where he remains today. He has won a Peabody award for his work on the Sandy Coverage, as well as obtaining four Emmys under his belt. Although he is used to talking about the weather and “champion” is in his name… will he be able to take on the heat in this competition?
Jordin Sparks
Sparks caught the eyes of many when she won the sixth season of American Idol at just seventeen-years-old, becoming the youngest singer to win in the series’ history. Sparks has also made TV appearances in shows such as Big Time Rush, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, I Can See Your Voice, and played the main role of “Sparkle” in the 2012 film of the same name also starring Whitney Houston. Although she is known for her vocals, she is a mental health advocate as well as an endorser for Genomind, a mental health map that helps others understand how genetics play a role with our mental health. Sparks will be taking her next debut to the floor and the best advice that we can give her to make it to the top would be from her own lyrics to take it “one step at a time”.
Daniel Durant
Durant was born deaf in Detroit, Michigan and has since then beat the odds by having a successful career in the acting industry. Before his acting career with film and television, Durant was involved in the Deaf West theater company. In 2016 he made his Broadway debut as “Moritz” in Spring Awakening. Since then, Durant has become a figure in the ASL community. He is well-known for his role of “Leo” in the 2021 film CODA that won this year’s OSCARS for “Best Picture”. Durant is also known for his roles in Switched At Birth and Silent Notes.
Joseph Baena
For those of you who are not sure of who Baena is … just go ahead and google him and you’ll find that he is related to the Terminator. Although Baena is well-known for being Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, he also is a real estate agent at ARIA Properties . Baena is following in his father’s footsteps in the acting realm and is a part of three ongoing projects that have yet to be released, while also being an amateur bodybuilder. You’ll have to wait and see if Baena has what it takes to terminate his competitors out of the water.
Jessie James Decker
Decker is known by all for not just being married to former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker; but for being a country pop singer and songwriter. In 2013 she appeared with her husband on the show Eric and Jessie: Game On that ran for three seasons. Decker also is an entrepreneur and came out with her own clothing line; Kittenish, and also has a popular boot line. She is a known author with her books Just Jessie: My Guide to Love, Life, Family, and Food and Just Feed Me: Simply Delicious Recipes From My Heart to Your Plate. There is nothing that this mom of three can’t do. Only time will tell if she can take on that trophy with her kids and Eric cheering her on from home.
Jason Lewis
If only our girl Samantha could see where Smith is now. Lewis is most known for playing Kim Catrall’s love interest, Smith Jarrod in the Sex and the City series. Although he is known for his acting career, he started as a model styling in clothes such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, etc. Other than being seen as a “hunk” in both of his career paths, Lewis is also a philanthropist and actively a part of Habitat for Humanity; as well as, Best Buddies, a non-profit that fosters friendships and opportunities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Unfortunately, Lewis went home last night but we loved seeing him dance all the same!
Trevor Donovan
For all of you 90210 fans out there, Teddy Montgomery is making a comeback. Donovan is most known for portraying his role of Montgomery on the series and was also the first and only LGBTQA+ character that was a series regular. Although he is known for being the center for ROM COMS, Donovan is also an author and wrote three children’s books including Love Always, Dogbert & Tito, Love Always Dogbert’s Journey, and Love Always, Chance the Courageous. He is an active member of Habitat for Humanity, Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights, and a canine advocate. He also started a nationwide anti-bullying program known as Team Upstanders. Donovan has caught the eyes of many by not just being an entertainer, but for what he values in life. Let’s wait and see if he can catch the eyes of more by his dance moves.
Shangela
Say “Halleloo” to Shangela. D.J “Shangela” Pierce will be making Dancing With The Stars history as being the first drag queen to be hitting the ballroom. He is most known for being on three separate seasons of the hit show RuPaul’s Drag Race. Currently, he is the co-host and producer of the HBO Emmy nominated series We’re Here. Shangela has also made guest appearances in shows such as Glee, as well as the film A Star Is Born. In 2019, Shangela was recognized in Time 100 Next List and named “The Most Powerful Drag Queens In America” by New York Magazine. Along with all of these accomplishments; he remains involved in charities such as Feed the Queens Initiative which provided $100,000 in food grants for drag entertainers during the pandemic, a keynote speaker for the SMU LGBTQ Symposium, and lastly serves as a Southern Methodist University advisory board member.
Cheryl Ladd
It looks like one of the angels is making their way to the stage. Ladd is a known actor, singer, and author. She is well known for her role as Kris Munroe from the series Charlie’s Angels. Before landing that role, she started her career singing on the TV animated series, Josie And The Pussycats (under the name Cherie Moor). Only time will tell if her moves are going to be as angelic as Munroe’s character.
Vinny Guadagnino
Get crazy and get wild because Vinny Guadagnino is making his way to the ballroom. Guadagnino is a TV personality and is best known from MTV’s Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Along with being on the hit series, he also has a residency at Chippendales in Las Vegas. You’ll have to tune in and find out if Guadagnino will be giving any strip teases or fist pumps throughout his performances.
Teresa Giudice
All though she’s told us “never tell her to pay attention”; she may have to take that back as she is getting ready for her dancing debut for Season 31. Giudice is most known for being a TV personality on the hit series The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Along with being a personality, she is an author of six books including: Standing Strong: Teresa Giudice, Fabulicious: On The Grill: Teresa’s Smoking Hot Backyard Recipes, Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit: Teresa’s Low-Fat, Super-Easy Italian Recipes, Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook, Skinny Italian: Eat It and Enjoy It – Live La Bella Vita And Look Great, Too!, and lastly, Turning The Tables: From Housewife To Inmate and Back Again. Giudice has also made television appearances on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, as well as The Celebrity Apprentice where she helped raise $70,000 for The NephCure Foundation. Let’s see if this housewife has what it takes to bring that ball back to New Jersey.
Selma Blair
“What? Like It’s Hard?” Is the advice Blair is taking from Elle Woods when it comes to showing the world her dance moves. She is most well known for her comedic roles in pop culture classics such as Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions. Besides film, Blair can be seen portraying the role of Kris Jenner in The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, as well as made guest appearances on shows such as Friends, Portlandia, etc. In 2018, she was diagnosed with M.S (multiple sclerosis) and in 2021 came out with a documentary titled Introducing, Selma Blair; focusing on the reveal and living with her diagnosis. Blair is also a New York Times Best Selling author from her memoir Mean Baby. If this woman can receive a standing ovation at the Emmys, she is going to be a powerhouse when it comes to standing ovations on her performances.
There is going to be a lot of competition in this group of All Stars. The new season of Dancing With the Stars premiered on Monday, September 19th on Disney+.
