OMG it’s the end….or is it? Hosts Kari Lane, Veronica Valencia, Jaimi Gray and Ollie Drennan break down the final two episodes of “Fruits Basket” (2001). Tohru does her thing and is able to have empathy for Akito and honestly confesses her fear to Kyo. Kyo almost gets his hug and we get some backstory on his upbringing. Shigure was strangely rather pathetic and not his normal witty/mischievous self. The original show has an ending but it definitely leaves a lot unanswered and feels somewhat lacking. Thank goodness for the reboot!
Also, Veronica and Ollie went to a BTS concert and our hosts discuss the rise of Kpop in American culture. Then Kari gives her thoughts on “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection” (movie) that is now in theaters!
