Ozark is officially returning for season 3 on March 27. Netflix just announced the premiere date this week with an official teaser and first look photos from the season.
Season two ended with the Byrdes, Marty and Wendy, buying a casino to keep up with their criminal activity.
According to Netflix, the season starts off six months after season 2. The casino is up and running, but Marty and Wendy are fighting for control over their destiny. Marty preaches to the status quo. Aided by an alliance with Helen and the drug cartel leader Omar Navarro, Wendy plots for expansion. However, when Wendys brother comes into town, everyones lives are thrown into chaos.
At last years Emmys, Ozark won for outstanding drama series. Leading actors Jason Bateman and Laura Linney both won Emmys that year. Bateman won outstanding director and lead actor. Linney won outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
